Father's Day - alcohol perfect for a gift

Father's Day is one of the most popular holidays in the Polish calendar. What is the genesis of that day? The holiday was born on June 19, 1910 in the United States, in the city of Spokane. Its originator was Sonory Smary Dodd, whose father was forced to raise six children alone. The daughter, wanting in a special way to celebrate not only her own, but also all the fathers in the world, propagated this day among her neighbors and friends. The local community celebrated this little celebration for the next 62 years. It was not until 1972 that President Nixon officially made Father's Day a public holiday. As for other countries,

Dad's Day is celebrated on different dates. In Poland it falls on June 23, and in Italy, Spain, Portugal and France on March 19. In the Scandinavian countries it is a movable holiday, on the second Sunday in November. It is similar in Turkey, Great Britain and Ukraine - where Father's Day falls on the third Sunday of June. In Denmark, fathers celebrate on June 5. Just like on Children's Day, most parents decide to buy sweets for their children, so on Dad's Day, older children mostly buy alcohol for their fathers.

• Żubr beer - or Tyskie, Lech or Warka ... In many families, Father's Day is a symbolic holiday. The celebration boils down only to making wishes and a small gift. A four-pack of beer is as good a gift as chocolate for Children's Day. A cheap and practical product will undoubtedly bring a smile to the face of a tired father.
