Every lover of sweets probably loves bars: nut, chocolate, coconut, covered with delicious, milk chocolate. So why not use these favorite treats to make a delicious cake? Of course you can! Because who said that Mars, Lion, Snickers or Bounty are not suitable for a more representative role?

Calorie bomb from the heart

While a candy bar cake (rightly) sounds like a real caloric bomb, there are occasions when you can only look at the joy of the palate. And especially when you are celebrating a birthday or other special occasion for a dear person. If we know that she is a gourmand and a cake made with the use of bars would make her happy, then there is no need to wonder. Especially since such a cake will not only be delicious - making it is not difficult at all and will not take too much time. You just need to make a little fantasy, a minimum of culinary and technical skills and buy the right amount of sweets. Fast version for busy people

The really busy will also be able to prepare the most basic version of the bar cake, although the real cake will only resemble its shape. Before starting work, you should obtain:

  • polystyrene or cardboard circle (base)
  • a napkin
  • double-sided tape
  • at least a dozen of your favorite bars, e.g. Kinder Bueno, Snickers, Twix (the amount depends on the diameter of the cake and the type of bar)
  • several packages of candies or other sweets (products packed in separate wrappers are recommended, e.g. Ferrero Rocher, Rafaello, Kinder Niespodzianka)
  • Decorative ribbon

Prepared: the circle for the base should be covered with double-sided tape (on the outside) and a napkin on top. You need to stick the bars to the tape (in wrappers - do not take them out) to the base until they form a dense "wall" of our unique cake. After the entire base is covered, the bars can be tied with a ribbon for decoration and additional security. When we are sure that everything is tight, you can pour the previously prepared candies or other sweets inside. To the brim!

It may not be a typical cake, but the recipient and its companions will surely quickly reach out to taste its individual elements.

Version for ambitious people

The more ambitious ones can try to make a real cake with candy bars. What should you prepare?

  • 6 eggs,
  • 1 cup of sugar,
  • 1.5 cups of flour,
  • vanilla sugar,
  • 2 spoons of baking powder,
  • 15 grams of dark chocolate,
  • 2 proteins,
  • 25 grams of cream,
  • 20 g of sugar,
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons of gelatin,
  • a few packages of selected bars (KitKat will do well),
  • 1-2 packs of M & M's.

First, you need to prepare a sponge cake. To do this, beat the eggs with sugar and mix, slowly sprinkling the flour and baking powder. Once the mass is made, put the dough into a springform pan (it is best to put it in advance with parchment paper) and bake it at 160 degrees for about 40 minutes. After baking, cut the sponge cake into 3 pancakes.

Make a mousse of bananas: crush them, mix them, and then pour gelatin (6 tablespoons) dissolved in boiling water over them. Leave to concentrate and cool.

At the end, knead the cream: beat the egg whites with sugar and the cream separately. Then melt the chocolate and cool it slightly. Slowly add it to the cream, gradually adding the egg whipped foam. We mix until the whole thing takes the consistency of a smooth cream.

Finally, translate the prepared ingredients: once a sponge cake, once a banana mousse, once a cream. When the layers of the cake are ready, coat the top and sides with cream and cool (in the fridge, about 2 hours). After waiting for this time, we can decorate the sides of the cake with selected bars (this time already taken from the packaging), and decoratively sprinkle the top with M & M. Ready! Now you only need to decorate the cake with candles, topper or ribbon and you can give it as a unique gift for your loved one.
