Halls lozenges have been on the market for over 120 years. They first appeared in 1893 in London. Their production was started by the brothers Norman and Thomas Hall (this is where the name of the product comes from).
They had already run a family manufactory producing ... literally soap and jam! After some time, they decided to extend the production of soap and jams to the production of confectionery. And they came up with the idea of refreshing candies that quickly won the hearts of people around the world.
Currently, the brand is owned by the giant Mondelez International.

The idea behind Halls candies was to introduce a certain revolution on the sweet snack market, namely to develop a recipe that would make the snack both tasty and healthy.
