A good-quality salad dressing is like the proverbial "i" - it perfectly complements the whole composition. This seemingly small, insignificant addition determines both the taste and aroma of the dish. Store shelves are full of various solutions. In the average store, there is no shortage of sauces in jars, sachets and powders. While it is said that homemade dressing is better, not everyone has time to experiment in the kitchen.

What are the advantages of the finished product?

Why is it worth choosing a ready-made sauce?

Until recently, ready-made sauces enjoyed a bad reputation. Full of preservatives and chemicals, they did not improve, and even detracted from, the taste of the salad. Made of low-quality products, they rarely hosted a self-respecting hostess in the kitchen. Everything has changed. Modern production technology in combination with high-quality ingredients and spices have made ready-made sauces - also those in bags - an excellent alternative to hand-made solutions.

A tightly packed product stays fresh for a long time, so it can be used at least several times. The multitude of solutions available in the store makes it easy for everyone to find a sauce tailored to individual taste preferences and the nature of the dish. Customer-friendly packaging is conducive to convenient storage of the dressing. It is also impossible not to mention the speed of preparation - ready-made salad dressings have many advantages.

In a jar or in powder - that is the question

The main difference between the solutions - sauce in a jar / bottle and in powder - lies in the method of preparation. Dressing available in a glass vessel is suitable for consumption immediately after opening. The product from the bag should be mixed with water in the right proportion.

Mayonnaise salad dressings in glass bottles - as they are slightly thicker than products in sachets - are perfect for salads with noodles and rice. Yoghurt dressings are characterized by a relatively low calorific value (especially based on Greek yoghurt), which makes them perfect for all kinds of dietary salads made of fresh vegetables. So-called spring sauces - with grated radish, dill, chives, herbal and classic garlic sauces - go well with all kinds of greens, as well as chicken or turkey salads. Vinaigrette, on the other hand, is suitable for all salads and salads - without exception. In the case of particularly light dishes, e.g. for the grill, it is worth trying only a few drops of seasoned olive oil or other good oil. When it comes to all kinds of oriental salads - especially from Asian cuisine - they will not do without special, dedicated sauces and classic soy sauce.

Ready-made sauces go perfectly with both fresh and grilled vegetables, as well as all kinds of meat. The choice of a specific product should depend on the individual taste preferences of the recipient.
