At last! The hottest night of the year is approaching - New Year's Eve! The perfect opportunity to have fun and spend a happy time with friends. Are you planning to organize a New Year's Eve party at your place this year and you are wondering what delicacies to treat your guests with? Do you want to surprise them, and traditional whiskey with cola, wine with sprite or vodka with juice seem so hackneyed? Prepare them interesting cocktails that they don't expect! We have some inspiring recipes for you.

Vesper Martini, a James Bond drink

It's not time to die, it's time to have fun! The James Bond cocktail can be a real treat for your guests. Interestingly, this is the original recipe given by Ian Fleming in the novel "Casino Royale" (1953). To prepare it, you need:

  • 60 ml of gin
  • 20 ml of vodka
  • 10 ml of French Lillet liqueur

Serve in a large goblet or champagne glass. And remember: shaken, not mixed!

Honey absinthe

It is a very interesting (albeit "strong") cocktail that can also be served as "shot". It all depends on what type of vessel you have at your disposal: narrow, tall glasses or narrow tall vodka glasses will be the best.

To prepare one shot, you need (in the case of a larger vessel, the portions should be increased keeping the proportions):

  • 20 g of liquid honey
  • 30 ml of lemon juice
  • 25 ml of absinthe

First pour the honey into the dish, then add the lemon juice. Finally, pour in the absinthe. The mixture should effectively separate (absinthe at the bottom, honey in the middle and lemon at the top). It is not difficult, and it will certainly create a "wow" effect on the guests.

Finest sour, a classic from Wisconsin

Finest sour is a cocktail from the American-Canadian border. His recipe was first published in 1870. Although it is based on American blended whiskey, it has an exotic note that caresses the sense of taste in a truly refined way. So what, do we act?

To prepare a cocktail according to the original recipe, you will need:

  • 50 ml whiskey (e.g. Ballantine's)
  • 12.5 ml of Malibu
  • 12.5 ml of sugar syrup
  • 25 ml of lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 lemon slice
  • Ice cubes

Use a thick glass to serve the cocktail. Fill it with ice and set it aside for a while. Then put all the ingredients (except the lemon slice) into a shaker and shake it well. Empty the glass and pour the cocktail into it through the strainer. Finally, decorate with the prepared lemon slice.

Beer villain

It can abuse, but at the same time it provides interesting taste sensations. And you can be pretty sure your guests have never tried anything like this before. What do you need to prepare a "beer villain"?

  • 50 ml of vodka
  • 200 ml of any beer
  • 30 ml of tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup - choose spices according to your taste

First, mix the tomato juice and ketchup in a glass. Then pour in the beer. Experts recommend pouring the vodka at the very end, in a small stream, so that it settles effectively at the very top of the drink.

Burning Dr. Pepper

It is an interesting and unique cocktail based on beer and rum or whiskey. You can surprise your guests not only with its taste, but also with an effective cooking process.

What you need:

  • 25 ml of dark rum or whiskey
  • 25 ml of Amaretto
  • 200 ml of lager beer
  • Lighter

Pour the beer into a glass and then add the Amaretto liqueur. Prepare the rum or whiskey in a separate bowl. Set it on fire, then pour it into the glass in a smooth motion.

We advise you to be careful and luminous of mind! It's best to practice making this drink before the New Year's Eve party. Bless you!

Russian terminator

And a little flavor at the end. Also with the use of beer. Our drink terminator is extremely easy to prepare. It is quite popular in Russia, where they like it for its simplicity and speed of operation. To prepare it, you will need: 40 ml of vodka and 400 ml of beer. Be warned: this is a mixture for the brave!
