Who of us does not know PEPSI. This characteristic product, Coca-Cola's biggest competitor, has been produced since 1893! The biggest PEPSI fans know very well that, apart from the classic version, we can buy a product in a slightly more unusual flavor. Few, however, know that PEPSI flavors known from the Polish backyard are just a drop of what the brand offers in other countries of the world. After all - as they say - matching the product to the customer is the key to success.

PEPSI flavors in Poland

PEPSI in Poland is available in 5 regular flavors and 4 seasonal variants. The first group includes, for example:

  • Classic PEPSI
  • PEPSI MAX - a drink with no added sugar
  • PEPSI Lime - a drink with a lime flavor
  • PEPSI Wild Cherry - cherry flavor version
  • PEPSI Mango - mango flavor version,

For this we can find seasonal flavors:

  • PEPSI Raspberry - raspberry flavor version
  • PEPSI Vanilla - vanilla flavor version
  • PEPSI GINGER - ginger flavor version
  • PEPSI Lime Mint - lime and mint flavor version.

PEPSI flavors in Japan

The Japanese are famous for their love of quite strange flavors of products for a long time. The strange flavors of Kit-Kat bars, available on the Japanese market, were widely echoed. As you will see - PEPSI is not behind the popular bars!

What PEPSI flavors can be found in Japanese stores? Here are the most interesting examples:

  • PEPSI Sakura - cherry flavor version. The drink is quite sweet and has a pink color
  • White PEPSI - Dark colored Pepsi was too mainstream, so a white version was produced in Japan. Interestingly, the drink is called "White Cola".
  • PEPSI White Yogurt - while the above-described "white Pepsi" taste resembles traditional PEPSI (and stands out only in color), the next white version of the drink has a yogurt flavor.
  • PEPSI Pink Cola - another version of PEPSI in a pink color, with a strawberry-milk flavor.
  • PEPSI Ice Cucumber - or PEPSI with a cucumber flavor. We haven't tried it, but the brave ones claim that it tastes good and is perfect for hot weather.
  • PEPSI Azuki - Azuki is a type of beans popular in Japan. Yes - this is PEPSI with a bean flavor.
  • PEPSI Baobab - although the taste sounds African, we still stay in Japan. Somehow it turned out that PEPSI with the taste of baobab fruit appealed to the inhabitants of the country of cherry blossoms.
  • PEPSI Blue Hawaii - A drink in a blue color (more like a classic Powerade than PEPSI), with a pineapple and lemon flavor,
  • PEPSI Caribbean Gold - pepsi with a golden color and sapota fruit flavor.
  • PEPSI Carnival - a version with the taste of tropical fruits. Interestingly, apart from Japan, it was sold (with a slightly changed composition) also in the USA.

Other flavors of the world

Although Japan is definitely the leader in terms of original (and sometimes even extreme) PEPSI flavors, all over the world you can find no less interesting editions of this popular refreshing drink. Some of them are:

  • PEPSI Mont Blanc - the Alpine French edition. PEPSI flavored with a French dessert made of roasted chestnuts.
  • PEPSI Boom - PEPSI edition devoid of caffeine and artificial sweeteners. You can find it on store shelves in Germany, Spain and Italy.
  • PEPSI Ice Cream - or PEPSI with ice cream flavor. It was created in Russia and is only available there.
  • PEPSI Retro - edition of a drink made only from natural ingredients. Such PEPSI as from the beginning of its home production in the 19th century. We must admit that this is a very interesting version. Unfortunately, to taste it, you have to go all the way to Mexico.
