For most beer drinkers, it does not matter whether they are holding a bottle, can, glass or a special mug in their hand. It is important that the drink tastes good and is best chilled. However, connoisseurs of this alcohol know that the vessel is of great importance - at least when it comes to the taste of beer. Absorbing another bottle "straight from the thread" can significantly disturb the positive experiences associated with this process.
Why this way?
It might seem that the beer tastes the same, no matter what you consume it from. Nothing could be more wrong. Drinking straight from the package is undoubtedly a convenient and practical solution. In everyone's life, there are exceptional situations in which a glass is forgotten - after all, no normal person carries a glass with him for a fire or camping in the forest. And reaching for a pint at home is not always justified. After the fun is over, it's time to wash the dishes, which can significantly discourage beer lovers from using them. So why not drink a gwent golden drink every time?
Not in every situation
The simplest answer to the title question is: because it doesn't belong. The sight of a person drinking from a gwent of any kind of alcohol often dislikes observers. Of course, comfort and habit often obscure the argument of good manners and the culture of enjoying high-alcohol drinks. However, this is not the only argument against drinking from gwent.
Vision
Man is endowed with five senses, three of which are actively involved in tasting beer: taste, smell and sight. A well-served drink - in a properly selected glass - pleases the eye, even before it reaches the hands. Beer, like any drinking liquid, may or may not look appetizing. Light as a cloud, a foam cap, a perfectly golden color and delicate drops of dew, slowly dripping down the sides of the glass - such a sight can arouse the desire for a long sip. After all, it is not without reason that people speak of "eating with their eyes" (and in this case, drinking).
Smell
When drinking a gwent beer - with every sip - you cover the opening with your mouth, which makes the aroma of the drink lose its importance. The aroma does not reach the senses then, which makes the perception of the drink completely different. After all, each beer can boast a different aroma. Sometimes hops, spices are the best, and still other times fruit.
Taste
The most important, however, is the last of your senses. Few people know that the taste largely depends on the aroma of the drink. Our taste buds distinguish between five basic flavors. With a stuffy nose, most of the dishes appear colorless, devoid of any value. This is because the sense of smell plays an important role in how we perceive a dish, or in this case, beer. When drinking a gwent beer, you completely give up the visual qualities, significantly reducing the aromatic experience - and this, in turn, limits the taste stimuli.
